Kate Varady, is the founder and Executive Producer for REVOKC. Kate is originally from Kansas City where she was a corporate training developer for the telecommunications giant, Sprint. After leaving Sprint, Kate spent over 20 years as a real estate investor and property manager in Kansas and Arizona. She also served as the Social Media Director for a start up, on-line fashion accessory retailer.
Now living in Oklahoma City, Kate has been an independent Video Producer in collaboration with Michael Petty at Moving Stills Productions and MichaelPettyFILMS. She has produced a wide range of professional branding films, medical training, lifestyle, recruiting and themed entertainment films and continues to consult in social media and real estate marketing.
Kate founded REVOKC in 2015. Her vision is to work in partnership with successful and creative realtors, builders, developers and allied businesses to use video and social media more effectively to engage home buyers and sellers.
Michael Petty is an experienced marketing strategist and filmmaker with deep roots in Oklahoma.
His 30+ years of experience developing marketing and communications strategies was gained on both the brand and advertising agency sides of the business. He has conceived and managed the creation of award winning and effective marketing communications campaigns for national brands like Johnson & Johnson, Gatorade, HJ Heinz, Pennsylvania Tourism, Anheuser-Busch, Blockbuster Entertainment, Owens Corning, NAPA Auto Parts, Microsoft and United Health Care.
As VP, Marketing for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line he was awarded the prestigious Gold Effie by the New York branch of the American Marketing Association for brand communications effectiveness. As Sr. VP, Advertising and Creative Services for Universal Studios he produced scores of TV commercials and promotional films for the Universal brand working with a wide range of filmmakers including Steven Spielberg, Richard Donner, Dean Cundy, Jordan Cronenweth, Mikael Saloman and Tony Seiniger. It was his tenure at Universal that inspired to begin a second career as a full time filmmaker.
As a writer, director, cinematographer and editor, Michael’s proven brand marketing experience, creative credentials and sense of production values make him a unique resource in Oklahoma City.
